Instructions

  1. Pour the green tea kombucha into a large pitcher.
  2. Add the apple extract and the orange blossom water.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Serve over ice. Garnish with optional fresh fruit and herbs.

Notes

You can find fruit extracts at your local grocery store or online. Brands like McCormick offer fruit extracts in a wide variety of flavors. Look for extracts without added sugar or preservatives.

In place of orange blossom water, use 1 tsp orange extract and 1 tsp water. Substitute rose water or hibiscus water if you don’t have orange blossom water or extract. Alternatively, use fresh juice. Substitute 1/4 cup apple juice and/or 1/4 cup orange juice for the above extracts. You could also add 1/4 cup of apple cider instead of apple extract.

Instead of green tea kombucha, try kombucha made from white tea or oolong tea. The mellow flavors will combine well with the fruit. Black tea kombucha can also work, though it has a sharper taste that may overpower the fruit. Alternatively, use ginger kombucha after its second fermentation for more flavor and health benefits.
