Blackberry lime kombucha will soon become one of your go-to recipes. This tart kombucha recipe is refreshing, customizable, and delicious.

- 3/4 gallon (14 cups) black tea kombucha, after the first fermentation
- 2 cups blackberries
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Place the blackberries in a bowl and smash them with a spoon or potato masher to break up the berries and release their juices.
- Transfer the blackberries to a gallon jar. Add the lime juice and kombucha. Stir to combine.
- Cover the jar with a cheesecloth secured by a rubber band.
- Let the jar ferment for 2 days at room temperature.
- Strain the kombucha into a large pot to remove the solids.
- Pour the mixture into individual flip-top bottles and cap tightly.
- Let ferment for 2 days at room temperature.
- Refrigerate to stop the fermentation and carbonation. Enjoy when desired.
Notes
If you don’t have fresh blackberries, use frozen. Let the berries thaw before mashing them.
Use green tea, white tea, or a mixture of unflavored kombuchas for this recipe.
Add your sweetener of choice after straining the kombucha if you want the final product to be sweeter.
Garnish with fresh lime slices, blackberries, mint, or rosemary leaves.
