Description
Create this recipe using either store-bought juice or juice your own fruit with a juicer. I recommend using a sweet apple variety, like fuji, gala, or pink lady. You only need a few minutes to create a healing drink at home.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup black tea kombucha
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 2 tablespoons cranberry juice, unsweetened
- 1 handful of ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine the apple juice and cranberry juice in a jar or shaker. Shake to combine.
- Add the ice cubes to your serving glass. Pour the juice over the top.
- Add the kombucha and stir to combine.
- Add an optional garnish of apple slices, orange slices, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Notes
While black tea adds a robust flavor, you can make this recipe with white, green, or oolong tea kombucha. Change the flavor by using ginger kombucha instead of black tea kombucha. Ginger complements apples and cranberries and would be a delicious addition to this kombucha recipe.
Look for store-bought juice with no added sugar. Select the juice with the fewest added ingredients.
Instead of store-bought juice, juice your own apples and cranberries in a juicer. Buy cranberries while they are plentiful in the fall, and freeze them. Thaw before juicing.
Mix in a 1/2 teaspoon of organic sugar before serving to make the recipe slightly sweeter.
