Description
Aside from tasting great, this drink is packed with antioxidants that will boost your immune system and give you a healthy burst of energy. You can usually find culinary lavender at your local health food store or online.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 1⁄8 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup dried lavender buds
- 1⁄8 cup chopped fresh mint
- 14 cups oolong tea kombucha
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Add the mixture of mint, lavender buds, and sugar into a bowl.
- Pour the water over the herbs and sugar.
- Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves (1-2 minutes).
- Set it aside to cool.
- Strain the mixture while pouring the liquid into a 1-gallon jar.
- Add the oolong tea kombucha to the jar and mix well.
- Funnel the kombucha mix into bottles. Put a lid on them.
- Leave the bottles to ferment in a warm place for 2 days.
- Before consuming, put the drink in a fridge for 6 hours. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you only have fresh, organic lavender on hand, you’ll need to increase the measurement to 1 1/2 cups.
If you don’t have oolong tea kombucha, use unflavored kombucha with a green or black tea base.
Add a squeeze of fresh lemon, ginger, or lemongrass to this recipe to enhance its flavor profile. Alternatively, use ginger kombucha instead of unflavored oolong tea kombucha.
